Aja House Paris
Branding, visual identity, print design
Aja House is a Pilates studio in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Lauren wanted a brand and space that felt open, elegant, centered on strength and wellbeing.
We aimed to design a visual identity that reflected her vision, creating an image that was both welcoming and refined.
To start, we created a moodboard to capture the future Pilates studio vibe. The key themes were minimalism, warmth, and strength.
Creating the logo
From the moodboard, we knew that the logotype needed to be simple but elegant.
We started with the Freight Display typeface and adjusted the J to align perfectly with the other letters.
Though simple, the design evokes French stylistic elements, firmly rooting the brand in a modern Parisian aesthetic.
Refining the color scheme
With a warm and balanced color palette, we wanted to create a sense of calm that reflected the studio’s physical space in Paris.
We created an illustration based off of Etienne Eczet’s charcoal sketch, refining and vectorizing it to be used as a logo symbol, scalable to multiple sizes.
A natural and elegant monogram logo
Next, we created a monogram that could be easily used on social media. The “AH” is a simplified version of the logotype, employing the same typography but with some customization to combine the concept of strength and flow.
The clean arch that passes from the A and H represents the constant journey toward well-being, gently leading upward.
unique brand illustrations
Etienne’s original drawings were digitally refined and made to be used across the brand communication, including the website, social media, and print materials. They add extra warmth and character, enriching the overall experience.
the graphic design layout structure
Designed for both digital and print, the system was crafted with precision. It integrates every feature—images, titles, subtitles, body text, buttons, and color blocks—to create a cohesive and harmonious impression at first glance.
